Max Denison-Pender is a renowned, London based, classically trained fine arts painter, who has been appointed Team GB’s Olympic artist-in-residence for Paris 2024, where he will capture our country’s athletes at work, rest, and play.

Having just returned from painting jungle flora and fauna in the Amazon, Max has decided to invest his energies into a very different but equally ambitious project, the NIFTY FIFTY; painting 50 portraits over 2023, before heading off to paint an altogether hairier subject, the mountain gorillas of the Congo.
